El destacado opositor venezolano Leopoldo López, quien hasta este martes estaba bajo arresto domiciliario, ingresó en la embajada de Chile en Caracas en calidad de «huésped».
López acudió a la legación en medio de los violentos disturbios que se vivieron en Caracas y en otras urbes del país, tras el llamado de Juan Guaidó a una movilización civil y militar para derrocar a Maduro.
El opositor se encuentra en la legación con su mujer y su hija, según anunció el canciller chileno, Roberto Ampuero, en Twitter.
Lilian Tintori y su hija ingresaron como huéspedes a residencia de nuestra misión diplomática en Caracas. Hace minutos se sumó su cónyuge, Leopoldo López, que permanece junto a su familia en dicho lugar. Chile reafirma compromiso con demócratas venezolanos.
Hasta este mismo martes, López cumplía en arresto domiciliario una condena de casi 14 años.
